Default What is this bit ???

Hi,

Can anybody tell me what the part is just below where the exhaust headers start to come up to the engine ? its a square type block which bolts to the exhausts at the bottom. I was going to position an ABBA lift just under this to lift the front of the bike (as well as my superbike stand)..... any ideas ?

If you can avoid it, it's best not to lift off of the exhaust. Yeah, they are some pretty
solid mounts, but not really designed for the load. An occasional quicky probably won't
hurt. However, I'm talking as a general rule-of-thumb. I'm not familiar with the specifics of your bike.

As an option, consider a couple of ceiling anchors and two ratcheting tow-straps.

Hope you get it worked out, good luck, Ern

Cheers guys, i already have an ABBA stand that i use to lift the main weight of the bike from the middle of the bike, the front lift is just an added bit that lifts the front wheel of the ground to either clean or remove it.... i will keep it at the exhaust end just before it starts to go up to the headers.
