Tire Balancing Beads

Has anyone tried these balancing beads in their tires instead of the traditional external weights? I just had my suspension done & the shop uses them and sweats by them. i had never head of them before, but apparently they've been around for a while

Thoughts? Experience anyone

Yeah, they've been around for some time. Never used them though.
