hm i had the slip on on my 954.. it sounded great at full throttle but pretty quiete at idle and low revs.. power wise.. a slip on is a slip on.. just less./different packing for a dfferent sound.. but i had the slip on and a k&n filter with PCIII - custom tune, gained 7 HP

never been on the band wagon for 2 bros but i have heard it on a 954 and it does sound nice.. if you want that sound then go for it.. and unless you get a full system with a tune it's all noise difference

need a PCIII and get a custom tune from dyno.. which i recommend.. or can hook it up to computer and dp it yourself but you can also make it worse and without a dyno to see your A/F ratio i woudln't do it

although BobJoe is right about how to tune it you can save yourself $500 bucks by skipping it all together... it's not required at all unless you need to add 5-7 HP

very true.. i did gain 7hp and was ALOT smoother powerband but if you dont care about HP then just get a slip on and call it a day

it's the same thing bascially. half system just has midpipe but doesn't do anything for performance... what do you want, sound.. hp .. or both
