Hey guys im tired of trying to be cheap and waiting for a used one to hit the market so Im just gonna buy a new one and could use any input on best quality and price. I want to stay around $400 at the most but would love to spend less.

What do you guys think? Best quality for the price? Or anywhere I can find them cheaper?

 

dampers are like oil...everyone has an opinion. I personally prefer a linear style damper and went with the Hyperpro. Scotts is a very popular choice. Search the threads and you will find many threads that address your question.

As stated, it is personal preference. At those prices they are all good and will do what they are suppose to do. I like the linear style also and went with the Harris Gubellini.....check out my thread if you want to see what it looks like installed.

I paid more than $420.....you will not find a NEW one for less than that unless it is on closeout and they are trying to give it away.

 

I have used 3 of the 4 you listed, all worked great. Pick on ya like the looks of on your bike and the price you want, all are good.

 

i'd only go with a scotts

 

i love my scotts but it really is up to the person just what floats your boat .... like a wise man once told me theirs an a$$ for every seat
