I just got done looking at my pipe and then looking at his Leo. I swear they are the same length! I am just too attached to the Leo systems! I wanted their system before my Akro....But Leo stopped making them. I was a sad Panda.......

i do love the leo systems as well.. their new ti/carbon tipped ovals are so sexy..
i am glad i found my devil as they are no longer doing any direct US business....
i myself have decided to shorten my mid pipe to make the exhaust mount closer to the front... vs the pic i posted... and it will bring it closer into the swing arm to make for less gap

Yay!!!! I have saved the Life of another Leo pipe! My work is done here! WARNING: Do not cut the pipe so short that the heel of your boot rests on the pipe. Burning rubber doesnt smell all that good! If you cant get it short enough without putting in the boots path. Look into some clamp on heel gaurds (Carbon Fiber) that you can rest your heel on.

You can cut carbon fiber with a dremel, no problem. A cut off wheel is in fact probably the best way to do it.
That said, WEAR A MASK WHEN YOU ARE CUTTING IT! CF dust is EXTREMELY bad to breathe. CF splinters will make your body form cartilage to wall off the splinter and protect the body. CF dust is pretty much tiny splinters... you get the picture. Don't breathe the stuff for sure!

I just dont know....Its a great pipe! You wont gain any noticeable power gains. Its just for looks.....right? How about this first. The back end of the Fiddy-4 wont look so bulky if you get a fender eliminator! It will get rid of that gimongous mudflap! Find one that has integrated turn signals as well. It will remove the factory saddle bags we use as blinkers too. After that. Take a look at the profile of the bike. It might not be so annoying.....If your still looking to cut something up. I have a couple large fir trees down in the back 40 I can cut you loose on!
