Default RPM at cruising?

Just out of curiosity ... What rpm's do you cruise at? Whether it be 45-50 or 70+

Default RPMs

Unless I'm on Post, I don't like to be under 5k. I always want the RPM's to get out of the way of some dumbass on the road, haha.

it's better for the motor too.... the pistons don't have the same inertia at lower rpms, they pivot more doing more damage to the piston, rings, and cylinder wall.

Where are you stationed diablaz? Yeah I generally catch myself in between 5-7k. It just feels smoother. I need to get that new exhaust on ASAP though so I can hear it at high speeds. This stock can is so quiet.

well, no worries, the new pipe will definitely not be so quiet.

i worked nights and i'd get home around 11pm. i practically idled down my street in the neighborhood at like 2.5k rpms to not **** of the neighbors. but you're keeping your HTEV, which will be a good thing. it'll quiet it up a bit at lower rpms
