Default Rebuilt engine and now won't start.

I paid Honda 4100$ to rebuild my whole motor. I put it in myself. But now she won't start. I habe weak spark and I can hear my fuel pump prime. Really don't want to pay another 1000$ to have them trouble shoot. For days I've read and checked all the obvious stuff. And ideas?

Does the motor turn over good and fast when you try to start it?

Good battery? Good earth connection?

Yes it turns over good and fast. Spark is weak though. Yup new battery, and fully charged it twice cause of all the starting attempts. Earth connection? My battery is grounded to the bolt that mounts my starter as per manual.

Here's what I'd do.

I'd spray ether into the air box.

If it runs, it's fuel related.

If it does nothing, it's spark related.

If it pops, could be compression and or spark.

Don't overdo it on the starter fluid, but it'll give you a direction
