so im lookin at the 02 954rr body wise good shape details on the bike is 2002 honda cbr 954 RR repsol, 43k, new motor with 9k. all new plastics and tank, new chrome exhaust, new grips, windscreen, bar ends, undertail kit, flush front blinkers. the bike needs some finishing work, it needs the signals wired up, tires, fork seals installed can some one give me a price on this bike that i should offer?? thanks guys

 

What is the asking price? I would say somewhere around $3000-3500 if everything else on the bike looks good and you plan to do all the maintenance work yourself. You could be looking at another $500-800 to get the bike ready to ride.

 

Start low bro.....chances are the bike was dropped and needed new fairings. Usually nobody spends 600 just cause they think another fairing set looks good. Offer 2500 then go from there. If im selling somethin i have 2 prices in my head, what i would like to get and what ill probably end up getting. Askin price would be the higher but will settle for less....

 

it seems like someone wrecked this bike and bought all new stuff. But ya id start low and work my way up. i mean i payed $5000 for my 02 954 but it has original engine with 9k miles and its all stock besides the exhaust and few other things. but needing all that work i wouldnt pay more than $3500 for it. You could prob find one elsewhere for 5000 that is ready to go

 

All the boyz hit this one on the head. $2500-$3500 would be it for me! Check and see if the bike has a Branded Title. It sounds Salvaged to me. To be Honest now that I think about it. I would'nt go higher than $3k. I am sure there will be a 954 that will pop up in the $3500 price range that wont have as much history as this machine.....
