What does the 180 and 120 mean? I am looking at buying these and dont know what these mean.

 

180 and 120 is the width of the tires, in milimeters i believe. 120 goes on the front. 954s come stockwith a 190 rear tire though. You usually find 600 series bikes that come wth 180 rears.

the 954 can go either 180 or 190 on the stock rim... most people complain that the 190 means you get less lean angle through turns although depending on your riding style it may not matter

 

just like they said.... same as a 600 you can put a 180 or 190 on there.. liter bike can go 180, 190, 200, also the pirelli diablo is a great tire but the corsa is 70% track, 30% street.. it's one step softer then the regular diablo, so if you are doin little to no track go with the regular pirelli diablo, get more miles and spend less money

 

Whatever you do, just stay away from Dunlop Qualifiers, right VP?

 

yuck.. last brand of tire i would put on a 954 or 1000cc... i had those CRAPPY dunlop 208's on my 04 600rr.. felt so unstable it was hell
