Pciii

i'm sure you could just copy the values from a 929 map over onto a 954 table for a pciii.
and a zero map or a pc map for no mods on a 954 (so long as it didn't richen the mix too much) would work just fine for the 929 motor
does that 929 motor have 29 or 54 TBs? if it has 954 throttle bodies - you wouldn't really need to have a 929 map anyways.... and if it has 929 throttle bodies - 954 throttle bodies are an easy and good mod to do - even more so if you plan on doing further mods down the road

The motor and stator are the only thing that is 929 , every other sensor and part is 954 ( 929 was the only motor I could find in my budget at the time my 954 spun a bearing ) bike has a modified stock can (5-6 inches shorter) the bike does the back fire out exhaust thing from the time I put the 929 in , I have been running with the 954 pc3 map for stock (not the zero the next map) I just installed the block off plates that are sposta make the back fire stop and now it does it more , my guess is cuz now less air mixed with the fuel (idk) , I did some changes to the map to try and fix problem but didn't seem to get better so I changed it back cuz I didn't wanna lean out and melt pistons down

Not that I've noticed , it doesn't seem to smell to rich ether when I rev it
Do you know if there is a timing difference between 29/54 ? I can adj timing with pc ( I did change time up 5% at 60-80-100 % throttle from 3500rpm up , seemed to have a little more go ) but I'm not on a dyno and don't wanna hurt anything

as long as you're staying within 4 degrees on ignition - you won't hurt anything.
i had a flat spot in mine (no dyno either) and i found advancing the whole thing 2 degrees really did help smooth it out.
i don't know how bad the afterfire is - but if it's really bad as you're rolling off moderate throttle - id say there's something wrong. if it's giving you a few pops when you're rolling off heavy throttle though - i wouldn't be too worried.
are you using regular fuel? if you're using premium - that could cause it too as it doesn't burn as fast - and that'd cause that unburnt fuel to afterfire in the exhaust

I have a 54 pc on my 29 I just did a zero map and had dyno shop do a custom map . I got 126 to the back tire and the. Bike runs awesome ! I only run regular fuel no super these. Bikes don't need 91 . In fact my bike runs ton better &more responsive on 87 . When I run 91 chevron it runs soggy lazy it seems . 76 fuel 87 it seems to like it .
