does anybody over hereown anything else then a 954? if so u will know what am talking about, beforei gotmy 954 i just to own a 2001 R1 and that **** workedlike a clock, no wired noises no nothing, and also i have 03 636 as my stunt bike and that **** does not make any wird noises either, (besides when i blow a cluth he he he) but my 954 has this wired noise and u could only hear it when u keep the neutralthrottle position and rolling down the highway, it seems like the noise its coming somewher from the cylinders!I talked to other ppl about it and they said thats normal with 954'sand then others told me oh when i change ur exhaust u wont hear it nomore!! andwhen i got full akrapovic same **** but u could not hear it as much.... now is that noram or what??????

 

I know exactly what you're talking about man, I got my 954 after having a 600 hurricane and it never made that noise, but my 954 makes that noise. i have the akrapovic exhaust and I still hear it too. It still freaks me out though. But yeah, I think it's just normal.

 

954 w/Two bros and no noise(at least not that I have noticed yet). Im at 10500mi too. Changed oil every 1500-2500mi.

 

well 2morrow my friends friend is stopping buy so ill drive his 954 and ill find out if thats only on my bike or what... but yea i think its normal for 954 as well...( i just want to make sure) i change my oil every 5000 miles, or every year which come first...

 

my 954 makes the same weird noise too, somehow I got used to it and every day I keep telling to me, you're like the most beautiful woman in the wolrd, can't stop watching you but don't wanna hear you.

 

hahahahaha that is a good one.....so far it seam like a noraml thing since 3 of us have the same thing...i guess the rest of the 954 riders are just def to little things like that...

 

If **** the infamous ticking noise it your fuel injectors or so I was told.
