No spark= Unhappy

Another update: The bike still wont run and I don't know why. I replaced the diode with the correct one that matched the numbers on my diode. I don't really know what to do next. I took the harness off and inspected it thoroughly and all of the grounds are in their proper location. The bike just don't want to get spark. I am going to make a last ditch effort and buy the IPG sensor and rotor and hope this is the problem I am thinking of selling the bike and getting one that runs.

Section 17 of the manual covers everything to check the entire ignition system.

I think I might have fouled out the new plugs so I am going to go get a new plug and check all for spark with the plug grounded. I was joking on selling it, this is my dream bike and I want to bring her back to her original luster after 2 abusive owners.

I am but I need to follow step by step more closely. I will be working on the bike the next few days.

I followed the manual and started with the ECM, I hooked my red prong up to the yellow wire and the black prong to ground, turned the ignition to on with the switch on run. I got absolutely no reading so I moved on to the red IPG plug and got nothing there. So what does this mean? I am on 20 vdc with multimeter. I don't have a peak adaptor but I am still getting no reading. I am getting a reading from the yellow/red wire. Please help me out with this. Thanks in advance. I also tested the coils on and off the bike and they tested out fine.
