Brakes are only as hard as you make them! I picked up a small break bleeder from autozone for like 6 bucks and i think it was a great investment and at only 6 bucks why pass it up?!

Tk954RR,
My back break looks like its out of brake fluid? its really all on the side since the bike is always on the stand. my co-worker rides a cbr 600rr 03 said once i replace the breaks the fluid in the in the line will come back up is this true?

Yes some fluid will return to the cylinder. Once you compress the piston that fluid has to return back to the cylinder.Once you pop the new brakes in check it and fill as needed. Me personally I use my rear brake never..... I put like 20,000 miles on my bike and have replaced the rear pads once.

this should be the process, remove cylinder cap, compress piston, pop in new pads, put cylinder cap back on, pump brakes, if needed add fluid or bleed brakes. If you can stop and your satisfied with the way your brakes feeland are safe at the same time then dont bleed them. If you didnt have problems with the brakes working before pad replacement then you shouldnt have to bleed them, well unless you took the brake line off the caliber and leaked fluid all over the place.

Yeah i do mean the rear brake master cylinder, I recommend you do cause forcing that piston back in and not leavin a place for that air to leave can probaly damage your master cylinder.
