Hmmm, that's a different look. I do know that Erion made a few different bikes that weren't equal to eachother. Their A bike wasn't their B bike if you know what I mean. I'm curious to see what the deal is with the clutch cover in your first picture. Just extra crash protection, or a hydraulic conversion?

There are a number of reasons why the added they bracing though. Anything from extra rigidity to heavily modifying the engine case to accept a cassette type tranny maybe - I have no idea.

But we do have at least one member who has seen their A bike in person. Maybe he'll chime in.

What are you and your friends trying to accomplish by modifying your frame?

my friends said that after she will be more better in the corner because this modify make it flex less than the original configuration here is another picture this is the 954 from team Bruce transportation:

Have you had a problem with the bike cornering?

There are not very many people on the planet that frame flex on a 954 would affect their riding. I'm impressed if you're one of them!

On the Bruce bike, they just welded a piece of aluminum from the motor stay to the frame. It might stiffen things up, but it could be that a race team just wanted the bike to not be stressed member for ease of breaking things down, swapping parts, etc.

The big piece of billet on that Erion bike is also bolted on, which doesn't fix all of the flex issues. It probably doesn't hurt, but if you're bolting pieces together, its still going to flex.

Furthermore, I'm not sure that area is the weak spot on the frame. And don't forget that if you're riding on the street, you'll want that flex.

the two friend of mine they go on the track with they'r bikes, and we was talking about this and they told me that they wanted know more about that that'it i dont have to do races and especially i dont want touch the frame of the bike because this are not works easy to do instead i think that are works for people that know where put the hands..
thank you very much Conrice
Demon: no i dont have problem with the corner, not im one of the people that the flexibility of the frame affect my riding i thought that it was something that make more better the bike, but the most of the time i ride in the street and how said Conrice i will want that flex so the mine was a stupid idea that i had =)

Conrice 01-06-2015 01:40 PM

Its not a stupid idea, there's nothing wrong with wanting your own custom bike. There is a lot of other stuff going on with those bikes that I'd like to know about.

i send email to Erion and they said that is they're own modify that of course is not for sale,it was only for the 954's of the AMA Championship.
