Dyno scheduled for next weeks Wednesday Well see does the motor stay in 1 piece this time Haven't really had the time to ride it for almost a week but there would be a big event Saturday close to me with some riding and built bikes so it could be nice to go there. Does Mattson planning on coming to Riihimäki?

Did get this battery for the bike because it's little hard to start whit warm engine because of the higher comp. ratio. It's CCA is 285A compared to stock Yuasas 190A. Should start little better.

B-night. Last year there was 450-500 bikes. It's no regular bomber event. This is just once a year so pretty much everybody is there.

Changed the battery today. The difference in the starting is like night and day. Whit the new LIFEPO4 battery the starter spins the engine very nice and there is no difference whit warm or cold engine. And it weights only 1050 grams vs the stock Yuasas 3200 grams. Just have to change the semi-synthetic oil to 300V Motul before the dyno session and check the fuel lines, adjust the cam chain and do other little checks to the bike. Thinking off putting the BMC:s airfilter back on that i had on the bike before. Thoughts?

It did feel awesome to ride the bike today Haven't ridden it since Friday. Feels just little hard to drive the same pace as traffic even with just tiny bit of throttle. Feels like it just wan'ts to go. Been kind of hard to maintain to control of myself

I'd go with the BMC if you already have it. I'm glad the battery has fixed that issue of the warm-starting.

Cleaned/oiled the BMC and put it back on the bike and changed the oil + other things. Drove it about 250 km:s Saturday. Everything still working fine. Just waiting for the dyno.

The bike is tuned and nothing broke on the dyno. I'll post a dyno sheet when i get it scanned. It made 150 rwhp which is exactly what stock K7 GSX-R 1000 makes at this dyno. So we did little calculations after the dyno session with based on the heads flow numbers and few other facts and the motor should be capable of putting at least 18 hp more to the wheel. So it's airbox, tb:s or exhaust restricting or all of them. I do have some ideas what to do to it but more about that later.

This is engine hp compared to the last run it made with the 1/2 Devil high mount in year 2012. Best run with the Devil was 147.1 hp from the engine and 102.3 nm or 134.2 hp and 96.4 nm from the wheel.

It does seem that the top end is being restricted, which I'm assuming is because of the TBs/air box. I'm sure that's the bottleneck in the system, I doubt it's because of your exhaust. AFR is dead on, that's a very good dyno-tuner that you've used.

Either way though, it's time to enjoy your bike! I hope you have a great rest of the season on it!
