yes, he put it into perspective nicely smart guy... here is something else you could think about... if you are running a low 11 sec quarter mile your at or a little higher that 120mph... i saw a guy in a ford super duty mind you, run an 11.4 @ 118.

120mph = 2mp 60 seconds (1 mile / 30 seconds) = .0333 miles per second.

If You complete the first .25 miles in 11.5 seconds at 120mph that leaves You 18.5 seconds to travel .75 miles. (.75/18.5=.0405 miles per second or 145.8mph)

In the second 1/4 mile You get the bike up to 150mph, That means You would have avgd 135mph for the second 1/4 milemeaning You will cover the next 1/4 mile in 6.66 seconds.
(135mph/60/60=.0375miles per second. 1min/.0375miles= 26.66 seconds per mile/4=6.66 second per .25 miles.)

Now You haveused18.16 seconds to travel.5 miles.
That leaves You with 11.84 seconds to travel the final .5miles.

So if You complete the first.5 milein18.16at 150mph, You would then need to avg152mph for the lasthalfa mile.
(.50 miles / 11.84 = .042 miles per second x 60= 2.52 miles per minute x 60 = 151.2mph)

1 mile 30 seconds should beeasy.

If You complete the 1/4 mile in 11.5 at 120mph that means You avg 78.26mph for the first 1/4 mile. If You just maintain 120mph for the rest of the run You will complete the 1 miles in 34 seconds.
