How to lock HTEV open
Hi folks, have a map ready to load onto PC111. I'm using one that is stated for a Leo half system that includes HTEV elimination. I've just installed an A16 stubby (sounds like hell breaking open )
I am trying to find info on the flapper and locking the htev open.
Can I remove the flapper completely, or is it just left flat down?
I'm taking off the servo motor completely, is this a correct action?
I'm reading the HTEV needs welded in the open position??? Can't I just manually turn it to fully open, or can it end up moving position freely on it's own accord, if not welded open?
I will remove all cables associated.
Do some sort of plates need removed and blanked or is that only really specific to the PAIR mod?
Thought about the HASS eliminator but if leaving the HTEV 'open' it seems an unnecessary expense.
Cheers for any help, I can't find a conclusive article online.
