Default hookin my bike up

Recently bought a sweet 954 rr 2003 . The location where it was purched from was in the mountains in N.C i live in charlotte. When i start it there is light smoking coming from the exhaust till it warms up . Could the location have anything to do with this maybe the mixture has to be adjusted . Any suggetions on fixing this.

I put the Metzeler M1 Sportecs on mine. So far they have proven to be awesome.

Get Pirelli Diablos they last a long time...good in corners. Ran the rear on the last set with only 12 pounds in it and the tire went a long way.

They actually sound really good. They don't have that loud high pitched sound like a D&D.....but they are louder and higher pitched than a Yoshi. Maybe similar to a two brothers? Sounds tight though, and the carbon fiber doesn't get hot to the touch. Worth the money.

The best thing I put on that bike is the Scotts dampener though. Definately worth the $.

Good review man thanks!

My bike came with a two brothers carbon can. I like the sound... so I can't justify switching over to the Micron. I do like the red/black carbon can though.

as far as flush mounts i have the K&S flush mounts...IMO they look very clean, pretty easy install as well.

As for the seat cowl try discounthondaparts.com It is hard to find the cowl on there site but call them and they will hook you up. I just bought mine for $119 plus $10 shipping. Can't wait to put it on!!!
