help removing rear cowl
 

Hey everyone, a couple of years ago I replaced my body work with carbon fiber(never do this, carbon fiber looks like **** now after sun fading and now I have to rehab it all) and had someone put it on for me. Now I'm having trouble removing the rear cowl. I have to take off the rear seat lock in order to remove the rear cowl, does anyone know how to do this? thanx guys.

I just took a set of needle nose to the cable and twisted it up towards the top. Popped right out. Theres a opening on that plastic piece holding the cable that you have to twist it around to. Then just pull it out.

reinstalling seat lock
 

I'm having the hardest time trying to reinstall this lock. Any suggestions? I tried pulling that wire from the cable and fitting it into the slot on the lock, but I can't quite get it to reach. Should I remove the lock? How are others doing this??
