ok i have a 02 954 with 16900 i want to put remote start on it ? this is just a simple one way alarm its a 8 wire alarm two yellows are for lights black for ground and red for power i have left
gray-turn off engine
blue-starting line
pink-
orange
dont know about orange and pink

i have hooked up tons of these alarms but have never tried the remote start and engine kill please help not sure where to even begin

still no help i cant find the wiring digram that this guy is talking about please help??? i have the bike broken down ready to go it cant be that hard is it??????????

 

Have you downloaded the repair manual and used the wiring schematics from that to find what you may need to tap in?

still not luck i have the wiring dirgram now but its all looks like chinnese to me lol where do i begin its on 4 wires that have to be hook up

You need to know what the Gray, Blue, Pink and Orange do on your alarm first. What does the alarm manual say?

I had sent you a PM bout this. It sounds like you have a Spy 5000m alarm, one of its derivatives or whatever it's based on. Finished doing this in the F4i so you might have to figure out the corresponding wiring for the 954

• Alarm red -> Red at fuse box (power from battery thru the fuse box & main fuse)
• Alarm brown -> black in 10p gray connector (goes to Engine Stop Relay)
• Alarm pink -> black / white away from ECM (for ignition disable)
• Alarm grey -> black white towards ECM (for ignition disable)
• Alarm blue -> yellow / red at starter relay (for remote start)

sub orange for brown.

 

like i said befoe it says blue starting line and grey is turn off eng there is a pink and orange left from the bullsra manual they have im lost looks like they got it going to some type of switch that says electric current exit?????? and pink goes to the general switch alsoi ave the manual but cant seem to read this

 

When I get time tomorrow to solder the connections, I'll take pics of my install. It'd help if you said what kind of alarm you have btw.

I'm going by the similarity of the colors and poor wiring diagram. But the pink & gray wires are part of a single function on mine, the ignition disable. The brown wire, which I'm guessing is orange on yours, is for +voltage when key is in and On. The blue wire is the start signal wire, connected to my starter relay on the y / r wire which comes from the starter button.

You can also try scanning your diagram and posting it here so we can look and be sure
