Default Help!!

so, i was riding today andall of the sudden the bike started jerking, it did it about 8-10 times the rmps went from 7ish to 3ish the back up then back down. when i start my bike the FI light stays on for about 10 sec, not sure if thats normal or not, also when the bike did that no lights came on or not and no it did not stall

regulator/rectifier ?
Battery condition
blocked fuel line could be the problem

It could be many things, from electrical issues to the clutch slipping, then catching, then slipping. My clutches usually just slip and slip and slip though.

the clutch has 400 miles onit, if it was an electrial problem wouldnt it turn the gauge lights on and off? it doesnt. idk, im gonna dig into it today!

the battery is brand spanking new, im gonna check the fuel lines and run a fuel conditioner threw it

I wouldn't use anything other than seafoam. I think fuel injector cleaners are a waste of money.

So were you cruising at 3,000rpms and it just rev'd up to 8,000, then dropped back down?

no, the opposite, i was at like 7 and it droped to about 3ish very quickly thenwent back up

Check fuel line kinks feed and return. How long you been on the same plugs? Bad gas?

I would say you probably got some bad gas. Possibly had some condensation in it or something. Plugs also are a good idea if they haven't been changed in a while.

i went to go dig into it and rite away i saw that the tank was very loose, could this be the problem?? i didnt see anyhting wrong so i put it back together ,but havent been able to go for a ride yet
