So far Philips Xtreme Ultinon is best, but I'm not spending that mind of money on bulbs!
So.. I'm an Amazon product reviewer as a side gig. I can request products from a selection of items and I get them free (aside from the tax on the value) . These were some no name made in China specials that happened to pop up in the list of things I could request to review so I figured I'd give them a shot. Motorcycle items rarely show up in there.

As for led lights. I did a ton of research when I converted my Expedition and the two most well liked brands across the board seem to be Hikari and Sealight. I went with Sealight in the Expedition and have had zero issues. I'll probably end up going with those eventually in the bike too.

Okay so last night was the first time that the stars aligned and the weather was cooperating on a nIght I actually had time to go test it out.. The beam on the garage door cuts off where the halogen bulb did so I wasn't too worried about it shining into oncoming drivers faces... .. but when I actually got it out on the road last night, it was a different story. However I don't believe the bulb change to be the issue. The bike was rebuilt by the previous owner, piecing together bits from two different bikes, and the body and headlight alignment isn't the greatest. Getting the bike out last night showed me that the headlight housing itself is tilted upwards so it is casting the beam higher than it should making drivers thing I have the high beam on when I don't. My astigmatism makes night riding interesting to say the least anyway so I pretty much don't do it unless absolutely necessary. The aiming of the light isn't noticeable during the day so getting it realigned is on my list, but pretty far down on the priorities.. with suspension and tires being more important.
