Default Fuel Pump keeps running when key is turned on

Ok hope someone can help me. I recently put a new battery in my bike. Now when I turn on the ignition key, the fuel pump starts running but then does not stop while the ignition is turned on. The bike starts up and runs fine but Im just not sure why the fuel pump doesnt run for two seconds like it is supposed to then turn off. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Pull the vacuum hose off of the fpr and see if any fuel leaks out. If it does, ur looking at around $95 to buy a new one and replace it.
