I have the pit bull front triple tree stand. the 954 requires you to unbolted the 8mm bolt that holds the front brake lines to the triple tree. Yes, it is a pain in the ***.

I have a set of T-Rex Racing stands that I use very often. Never had a problem using the front triple tree stand and nothing had to be removed to use it either.

Interesting.... very different experiances, i currently have an ABBA stand and have the Abba front lift as well, but this front lift thingy is a real PITA, it does not really feel secure because our bikes do not have two exhausts running parallel, so i had thought of getting a front paddock stand to lift the front and have the ABBA stand lifting the rear etc.

You shouldn't be lifting the front unless the rear is already on a stand. Then it shouldn't be an issue lifting the front.

Didn't think about asking if he props the rear first and then lift the front up.

REAR MUST BE LIFTED FIRST BEFORE YOU CAN LIFT FRONT.
