My suggestion, move north. I hate it when it is 90+ In Wisconsin we maybe have a few days a year where it is 90-100 out. Anything above 80 is too dam hot out and I don't even like to ride when it's this hot out. All I do is sweat. Move to the northwoods and you won't have this problem.

yea i live in houston and in full gear it sucks to sit any wear at idle...but you cool off pretty quick when you get going again...but we have hov lanes here that bikes can get in and i take advantage of that so i dont hit to much traffic...but here on any given day of the year my bike idles at about 200 degress so i believe it is just something you have to get used too...

well knock me for wearing shorts but im not fixin to ride around looking like nicky hayden and valentino rossi on race day. also i live in texas so it gets extremely hot in the summer and riding for hours wit full leathers will make u pass out from dehydration. i know where ur coming from beckpack cuz when mine was black it didnt burn my legs and sh*t when u touched them but now wit the polished frame/subframe it feels like a iron!

the only way to get true relief is to fill your tank w/ cold fuel. only lasts for about 1/2 hour though

no one said full leathers... but a good set of icon jeans or something like that would be bare minimum riding gear, your the one on here and complain about heat when u are inches away from a engine

Well just to go against Bob [sm=insomnia.gif]i would thinkmost everyone hereknows the risks of what you are doing, and wearing, and its your life. Do what you gotta do to get by, and just be safe as possible.
