Smile After all mod the 954 can go 160-170 tops

That's that's--we all know that the 954 is a fast and great bike but lets not start telling fibs--top speed is 160 to 170 mph (with a few mods)--nothing else or you have a speedo error--so enjoy your bike and have fun--thanks

There are formula's you can use to figure how much power you need to overcome wind resistance and weight. So unless you have major (read: big $$) mods done to the engine changing gear ratio will not yield you any more top end. Will actually slow you down since the engine does not have enough power to use all the gearing.

If you got nothing helpful to add then why bother posting a response

Now you got 3 posts in this thread that do nothing to help anyone. Oooops, I deleted 1 so you really only have 2 non-relevant posts -- AND, you are on moderation! Congrats Mr. Smarty pants ... you made the mild mannered Chain dude take aggressive action. So post a ton ... the staff will approve what's not "stupid"
