Default 954 in storage for a year

Looking for some ideas on what to do when I get my bike out of storage? She has 13,XXX miles on her and I need to change the oil, change all fluids out and also tighten the chain. I'm still kind of new to the motorcycle world, so I'm just looking for some ideas on what else might need to be done? Also I want to change the fairings out and I'm wondering how hard is it? I keep hearing that the tabs break fairly easy? Thanks for any suggestions.

I have some scratches on them and I would just like to go ahead and replace them before I take her overseas to Italy. That's all, just to have her looking right for the U.S...lol

before you change the oil, start the bike and let it run for 30 seconds. this gets the sediments off the very bottom of the oil pan and into the oil (and you'll get more of that crap out when you change the oil). has the bike been on a stand? or just parked? if its just been parked, really be careful of flat spots on the tires. any gas in the bike still would have gone bad.

the fairing tabs do break easy, just make sure not to use any power drills or anything to take out the fairing bolts, just use an allen key, and when you go to put the new fairings on, always make sure you thread the bolt with your hands to start, then use the allen key the rest of the way

Skip I will keep you in mind on the fairings

Conrice, thanks for the heads up. She's sitting on stands also. I wasn't sure about leaving her on the ground. I've heard some bad stories of flat spots in the tires and accidents coming of it
