954 ?'s
yea no chrome for me. i grew up in racing, not interested in show. I think a hotbodies race body would look nice though.
Changing wheels would get too expensive. I plan on just riding it for now. Drive it to work and back and occasionally go to VIR or Road Atlanta..
I didn't get a chance to get pics up but I did go look at some other bikes today. This 954 seems to be the bike for me though

stick with the 190, i honestly think that its the tire height that makes the better handling (55 instead of 50), so if it were me, i'd go with a 190/55/17. the 954 is a monster man, mine handles lightyears better than my F3 ever did, and i don't have to really even mention the power.
as far as a question earlier, the gixx 750 is comparable, but with a few bigger mods, you can have a literbike killer with the 954, whereas the gix just doesn't respond the same way. 954 sh*ts all day over the gix as far as trq though which is awesome. the gix feels like a 600 on steroids (weak downlow, more powerful up top) whereas the 954 has power everywhere, it feels like a 1000, its just doesn't have the peak power of most of the current literbikes.
and pimpin' was refering to the brake rotors, not the wheels

I was quoting the other post about wheel/tire sizes and how you need to go down in wheel size to go down to a 180 on a 954. Makes sense.
As far as the wave rotors, who makes a good one? Last time I looked the prices were in the $500's for my 600RR. I wouldnt mind a good braking setup. I've never touched the brakes on a bike but in my car I'm running Brembo GT BBK's front and rear and it makes a huge difference. about 2.8 seconds in stopping time from 140mph and they never ever fade. nothing like factory

I bought mine of ebay for like 200 bucks and lines for like 100 bucks. Yeah they are not Galfer but after removing my stock ones and bolting these up I didnt understand why I didnt spend the money years ago! I will personally vouch for these and the shipping time from overseas was like a week. Plus these things look bad *** and I get many compliments from co-workers on Gixxers and Ninjas. That is probably one of the first things they notice. I also have to remind them that just because my 954 is chromed out doesnt mean I dont ride the hell out of it. It is not a parking lot bike what so ever just a mistake I made when I should have went a different route. Also with the smaller rims, you can run a 180 on the stock wheel. Ive done it and havent noticed a difference in 180s or 190s......heres the link for the rotors:
