I noticed there are not many around. You're hard pressed to find any pics on the net of these bikes convirted.

Anyone out there have one?

 

I've only seen one. It was at the Rockerbox shindig in Milwaukee.

Of course that doesn't really answer your question but....[8D]

 

I suppose any 954 that has been "converted" wasbecausesome guy dumped his bike and half-assed it back to a rideable state. The closest I have seen a 954to "street fighter" condition was a stunter who had the lower farings removed. After all, isn't a "street fighter" just a bike that has been dumped and is now running around without the fairings. Kinda ratty looking if you ask me... But to each his own and good luck!

 

You see them, u just dont realise they are 954's. So many diff things u can do to make it a street fighter. Hell i know one guy who has one that looks like an f4i, LoL....Plus now days the 954 is considered Old School. In MOST cases the 600 will do just as much as the 54. So why have a big bike when u can have the smaller one. 600 is also easier to learn on. I have a 929 street fighter and i love mine. I cant see turning my Euro 954 into a street fighter though, LoL....My 929 is plenty enough....=-)

 

You don't see many of them because most people with 954 12 o'clock the **** out of them atleast that the case in my area.

Why would you take the sexiest bike ever and make it a street fighter? Go buy a gix 600, there are plenty of them around, they wont miss 1.

WELL SAID TK! THE ONLY BIKE THAT EVER LOOKED GOOD FROM THE FACTORY MENUS THE FAIRINGS WAS THE TL1000S! STREETFIGHTER AINT MY THING BUT LIKE SAID BEFORE AFTER A BIKE IS "CONVERTED" OVER YOU CANT TELL WHAT IT ORIGINALLY IS FOR THE MOST PART. LEAVE THE 954 AS PRETTY AS IT IS, TAKE SOMETHING THAT IS VERY "AVERAGE [:'(]" LIKE THE GXSR AND STREETFIGHTER IT UP.

 

I think alot of people actually woul do that. If it wasnt for the gixxers having a bad repuation from the frames snapping in half. PLus they come a dime a dozen, so u know u can find parts for them easy, LoL....I just dont think peeps wanna risk having the frame snap on the street when the front wheel comes down......=-)
