RE: 2003 CBR954 Undertail Exhaust custom
Thanks for all the compliments folks[8D]
To sum up the answers. It cost me $160 for the slipon can, $325 for the exhaust piping work, $15 in bolts and aluminum for covering the open hole under the seat. I mounted the plate on a small bracket I slipped between the pipe and can 6 o'clock position.
Just in case anyone else wants to do this (as it seems one person will) I used the same size pipe coming from the 4 into 2 and when the 2 went into1 used 1 7/8" all the way to the can.Definately need to dyno it because the bike bogs slightly when the HTEV opens at 3K but runs smooth everywhere else.
Cheers

RE: 2003 CBR954 Undertail Exhaust custom
I just ran across this post, and this is exactly what I want to do. I have a carbon fiber two bros that I want to run under the seat. I was wondering can you maybe get some pics of underneath the seat area? And did you run into clearance issues if you have a passenger on? And also did you have to modify the right passenger heel guard and peg to get the exhaust pass? Sorry about all the questions, this is the first time I seen this done and it looks damn good! You did an excellent job
