Default 2003 CBR 954rr is this a good deal?

hello, i have never owned a bike and am looking for a decent one. saw this and was amazed..then read that it said

"running the bike in 2nd gear over 20mph causes the bike to jolt, but 1st gear and 3rd gear and up are fine"

here is the ad. is this a good buy or am i in for it if i buy it. thanks!

i know if you need to replace 2nd gear you have to replace 5th also, theres input bearings and output and stuff that will need to be replaced too, i know its around 6-700 dollars in parts alone, then figure 75/hr if you take it too a shop and whatever they charge to split the case

is it worth it though? he said he has been riding it like that for a while..and that you just have to get used to it. and will it get worse over time? or as long as i shift under 20 in second ill be fine?

it might get worse over time, and ive had people tell me not to ride it like that because it can mess up some other things, i wouldnt chance it if you get it you should fix it, and shifting under 20 into 3rd will get annoying fast when your cruzing around town, see how much you can get him down on the price youll probably be into it a little over 3000, i would probably buy it these bikes seem to hold there value really good

its says that it was stunted you want to be careful of that because if it was stunted more than likely it was dropped a couple of times.

I agree I'd let this one go, you don't know what you are getting into exactly when there are internal problems. It could be a easy fix, could be a expensive one. Unless he would take about 1500 or less I'd walk.

hey bro.... take it from someone who got rooked by a "good deal" i didnt even get my bike home and it was already leaking oil in the back of my truck. i got to have the bike for maybe 5 months, and three of those months it was in the garage. don't do it bro, save the couple extra thousand and buy one that has not been down. TRUST ME!!!!
