2002 954rr no spark
So here is a little run down on the bike.
2002 cbr 954rr im having a no spark issue. I have fuel so ik its nothing to do with the fuel system im not getting power from ecu to the coils. Previous owner put a jump wire from a 12 volt relay to the coil that gives the coils 12 volts and it will run but it misses and doesnt run right. With that being said it was run like that i unhooked it and it ran fine for a day or so then back to no spark unless jumped by that wire any help would be appreciated im trying to get it running right im just not trying to strip everything and replace it all
Green wire runs to coil white wire with red tape goes to relay
This is the relay and yellow wire is for headlights
ECU does not power coils!!! It only grounds them temporarily to fire sparks. Coils get power full-time from engine-stop relay whenever key is ON and start/stop= RUN.
This is what signal on coil wires look like. Power fulltime, with momentary 0-volt grounding intervals by ECU to fire. If power applied to ECU line, you may have damaged ECU

Remove EVERYTHING that is not OEM factory wiring. So many hacks because people don't know how to test and measure electrics. It's as simple as measuring battery voltage. Most problems start with:
- mounting BAS upside down
- mis-aligning clutch-switch when "upgrading" to aftermaket levers
- mis-aligned kickstand switch
- disconnected or broken neutral switch
Rather than fix these item, they jerry-rig and hack up harness and cause additional problems. So, restore wiring back to 100% OEM factory condition and bike will run like brand-new off showroom floor.

This running is only temporary. It will fail on you again in future at unpredictable and most inopportune time.
Yea thats what it did the first time im ordering a new harness for it and im going to start with that.
Well ive had it less than a week but some woman used to own it got on meth hanging with the wrong people someone stole it messed a bunch of stuff up on it then she had some unsavory people working on it and I found the add on FB marketplace and I traded my 06 Harley dyna wide glide for it and decided im going to return it to its glory days but i need to make it run consistently b4 I start dropping all kind of money into it girl said she used to race it in Wisconsin befor she moved to Alabama
