A week or two away... Still waiting patiently here in Iraq

Iraq is the easy stage, the 2-3 days youll spend in Kuwait sucks.....right along wit the day long flight home. then the next few hours when you get to home station.......

had a friend come home recently
he had to spend 2 weeks in tx getting debreifed....

he said that sucked

ACTUALLY. I go straight from Alasad on a civilian bird that is military contracted back to the states. They started doing that recently but it has to be a company sized element. However it is ALOT better than sitting in Kuwait waiting on a flight because lord know they aren't in a hurry over there. My demobilization should only take a week at the most, but Indiana has beer and chicken wings SO WATCH OUT! :D can't wait.
Now we have to do stupid ceremonies, get our medals and awards. And then get smoke blown up our rear by some full bird about how good of a job we did. But it is all good as long as I'm on the way out the door.
