02 cbr 954 tip over switch fluid inside

hi does anyone one know if there's supposed to be fluid in a tip over switch or has water found it's way inside. I find it hard to believe water could get inside as well as its sealed . I would think it would almost have to be submerged.

Yes, there's fluid in there.

Well I'm having some trouble with my 02 cbr 954 I was riding it stopped at a buddy's for a few then went to start it when I was leaving and the fuel pump won't kick on. I recently replaced the ignition so I thought maybe the diode so I had a few at my shop so I replaced it and still no fuel pump or spark . I checked tip over switch , disconnected kick stand wires and Hooked them together and disconnected them and tried not knowing how that system worked . I swapped out my relays to check them and nothing I also took apart my kill switch and found a black wire and black and white wire bike won't turn over without the two making contact. It I'm not sure what to do to test kill switch being those two need to make contact to turn over starter and thoughts or ideas would be much apreactied

Hi , just take off the kill switch clean it out on contacts, smear with dielectric grease and test, always a good idea to just use the key to turn off and not the kill switch, when at run should be 12v in and 12v out

Thanks for the info .Well I have 12 volts going in and going out so I can't think of much more other then maybe ecu at this point.

Any fault codes come up

Hollywood954305 11-27-2017 06:20 PM

I'll look and check again but the only code that ever came up was F1 and it's done that since the day I bought it a few years ago. I'm pretty sure that's all . Thanks
