02 954 and loving it
I purchased an 02 954 about a month ago. I got the bike with 1500 original miles. I have already put another 1500 amazing miles on the beauty. Anyways, I just wanted to say hello and show you some pics. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
I uploaded 3 pictures and none of them showed up. Can anyone help? |

Congrats and welcome to the site. Email the pics to Thugff@yahoo.com and i will put them up for ya later today. Otherwise the next best thing is to sign up at like Photobucket and upload them there, then you can just link them up here using the little postcard icon.

Damn, bone stock!!! Nice find. Good luck, welcome to the forum, and ride safe. Dont break the bank trying to customize. Take your time(unless yore rich of course) and really get what you want instead of just setling for something.

Damn. You got a S-W-E-E-T deal. Looks like you've even got a Scott's steering damper, awesome.
FIRST THING even before you get an undertail, make sure (please please) get some good frame and swingarm sliders. These are usually hard plastic (delrin) tubes that bolt to the mid frame and near the end of the swingarm. That way if the bike goes over it doesn't destroy that spotless shiny plastic etc. Welcome to the forum. |
RE: 02 954 and loving it
I see a Ride of the Month winner!
I cannot believe how clean that bike is, showroom condition. |
RE: 02 954 and loving it
Thanks again for all the compliments! I don't plan on doing any major modifications to the bike for some time. But I will definetly look into getting some frame sliders. Any recommendations on good companies? Thanks again for all the input!

RE: 02 954 and loving it
Like most everything else its gonna be all opinions of course. Mine is Shogun, they held up great in my crash. Approx 45 mph on some fairly rough road and didnt break, while my other bar ends, and rear spool did break off.
