some kid on a bicycle cut in front of me and i had to put it down and it slid 150'. i get 5 broke ribs, broken collarbone, and now have fluid on my lung. they totalled it for $8300 damageand gave me $4900.got another $2220 in accessories. bought another 00 929 from the original owner. 10,000 miles and never been tipped over. paid $4600 for it. not too much besides the side fairings damaged.

Sorry to hear about the wreck.

Not trying to bash, but I'm wondering, why did you lay it down? The bike has great brakes

 

had to brake hard to the right andit locked up on me.

so you bought it back for? and you have 2? how damaged is the old bike, and how much did it cost you to buy it back? sorry hear about your injuries as well, I'm not much of a people person..... lol

nope i was doing less than 35mph. slid right down the road on the sliders. the bike only has plastic damage but every little scratch on stuff adds up quick. i got it for $1700. i tried like hell to get it lower but they wouldnt budge. tried for 4 days. like i said i got over $7000 so i got the new one and the old one back for nothing.

Sucks about the injuries, but sweet deal man... you kinda made out but not

 

you said they totalled it? so do you have the original title or did they issue you a salvage title?

and yeah thats a sweet deal - the injuries but i might be willing to suffer a lil for a big pay out.........lol

 

Sorry to hear about the wreck, but it does sound like you did alright with the bikes at least. The injuries sound pretty serious, so I hope you heal up fast. WHITE AND RED ALL THE WAY!!
