yeah i emailed the last one "Xtasy" i asked him if he had dyno sheets or could tell me how much power i would get on my 929... anyway this is what he said;

XTASY will not give you on your particular application 25hp. We recently did a 05 Hayabusa that gained 25hp along with a power commander. XTASY will however make a VERY noticable difference in both HORSEPOWER and THROTTLE RESPONSE. You will not be disappointed. XTASY remaps your ignition curve and out performs all TRE's (timing retard eliminator) on the market. XTASY also comes with a money back guarantee. Once you install XTASY you too would be a believer....if not simply return it for a full purchase price refund. Thanks for the question and for your interest in our product.

P.S. take a look at our feedback and see what other users of XTASY think.

Regards
Craig

If its like all the other timing retard eliminators on the market, it should work, if honda retarded the timing from the factory. Does anyone know of any timing retard settings on 929's? My friend put one on a kawasaki prarie (fourwheeler) and it was amazing. Apparently kawasaki had the timing retarded so much that when we bypassed it you couldn't keep the front end down, and this is with a four wheel drive huge four-wheeler. If there is a considerable amount of timing retard, it could be worth it, if not, a waste of money.
Just my thoughts, could be wrong.

you make a good point. now we just need to find out if the timing is off from the factory.

It's not a timing retard eliminator -- only Zooks are retarded from the factory This module changes the output of the air temperature sensor and makes the ECU shoot less gas. Running a bit lean gives the impression of extra horses. Truth be told, almost all bikes will run a tad rich when stock. The reason being that you ain't gonna hole a piston with too much gas. So if this device leans you out just a smidge you might actually see a couple ponies. No way in hell are you gonna get 25hp -- I'd bet money against even seeing 5. If you want to go this route then make sure to do it with a dyno and sniffer so you can see the A/F ratios before and after.
