URGENT! need advice

929 owners i need your help ive been riding a 600 f2 for 5 years and wanting another bike i finally found another bike in my price range a 929 2500$!!! guy says in ad it runs but needs tune up bad well poking around via email heres the next explanation i got about test riding (Yes around the block is fine, it is just idling ruff and running hard at lower speeds once you get it up to spped it smooths out but still not good.) opinions???? my thinking worst case senario blown piston rings or something best case dirty plugs or a crud fuel filter or pump heres the add iam going to look at it with cash tommorow.

Tops I would pay for that dude would be $1500 salvage title, running rough, looks rough as well....if you really want it go over it well I would at least do a compression test on it.

well as far as a compression test i dont think pullling it apart for that will be an option while iam looking at it however ill get er warmed up and try the old water on each header pipe trick.
