Just lay as far forward as u can, run 1st out to about 9, shift w/out the clutch thru all gears. Keep ur foot pointed down and right up against the shifter. No need for gp type pattern.

you don't have to run a GP pattern but once you leave the line and your feet are still sliding along the track before you shift into second, once you put your foot n the shfter, its so much easier and quicker to **** into second by putting yourr foot straight down!

the comment about not using your clutch lever when shifting.....

you can do it but your responsible for any damages...... I do it from time to time

but if you got a second see which is faster

place the heel of your left foot on the floor and practice which is faster throuh six gears and you really don't have to do this if you ever had to down shift in a hurry!

Wish I would have known you were going to Edgewater. I still have to run mine at the track. I use to like in north bend for a year and in western hills before that all my life before moving up here to west chester.

Do you need a wired (connected to rider) kill switch?

I don't have leathers but I do have a mesh paded jacket and paded riding pants. I don't think edgewater runs below 48 deg's. We have that cold front moving through I wonder how cold it will get? I will keep it in mind but I'll have my kids and then I'm a best man in a friends wedding (funeral) saturday night.

Problem with tristate is there is very little room to stop after the 1/4 mile mark.
