Temp/ PGM-FI Light Issues

I have an 01 929RR with a PGM-FI light on, how do I go about checking the issue with the light, I also have an issue with the Temp Gauge, the fan works fine but I noticed that the temp gauge on reads --- when it should read numbers i.e 195. I sent it to honda for some work and when it came back it didn't read like it did when I sent it in, they won't even tell me what the "possibility" is without paying, I was wondering if they unplugged something where would the connector that reads the Temp connect to and or a faulty sensor/connection.

RE: Temp/ PGM-FI Light Issues

All problems could be refered to the shop manual. Number of blinks = problem. I'm pretty sure it's all listed. You can download the manual it from this site for free. If it was working when you sent it in, but got it back with a new problem, I'd give them a call and seriously spout some ****.

your problem is in the pgm component what you do is go to bike bandit.com and look up you bike and go to electronics then you go to the wiring harness diagram and you will find that part on the parts list with the price of that part that box will run close to 900 smackers
