Steering Mods

I just picked up a '00 929RR (with apparently an '01 paint scheme)... anyway it has a steering damper of sorts and two clamps with handlebar mods on the forks by Pro-Tek, only I can't seem to find these anywhere.

Do these look familiar to anyone - and what the f are they? LOL
I'm just checking in to see what some of this junk on this thing cost and I'm hung up on these. thx.

the Pro-Tex mods are just bigger clip-ons it looks like. Just aftermarket "handle bar" styles that the previous owner put on perhaps.

This is their website - http://www.protekk.com/ Never heard anything good/bad about them.

As for the dampener, can't tell what brand. They normally start at $200 and go up from there in price. If your not familiar with that they do, google them and you will get a better understanding. I have a GPR on my 929 and will not ride without it. I love the feeling of it.

I persay wouldn't call any of these parts "junk" as they were installed for aftermarket use and probably comfort in the pervious owner.

The "Pro-Tek" mods probably allowed for more comfortable riding since the previous owner may of done longer riding on the bike..

Just from what I see..
