Shinko 009 Raven on a 929??

What do you guys think about these tires for the 929, or just in general? I've had them in the past on the Katana and to be honest, there's not much weight difference in the two bikes but the power difference is TOTALY different. I wonder how well they would do/hold up? I'm a moderate rider; I like to ride better than to just hit the twisties.
Would you put 'em on yours?

I say give them a try. My first reaction was, "Don't buy Chinese tires" but after 2 minutes of research they are Japanese tires that are built in a factory in South Korea. I used a sport-touring tire this last summer and had no problem getting the edges hot, but not the kind of abuse a few laps at the track would cause.
Edit - I didn't realize how cheap those are (price). If they suck you can just use them as engine stands in the garage, or a nice planter for the wife, haha.

$167 for both tires is one helluva deal if you ask me but I don't want to sacrifice safety either. Like I said, I had Shinko's on the Katana and for the way that I ride and the area that I live in, they did wonderful. The way I look at it is like this......if they do good, then I could get two sets for the cost of one "good set" and be waaaaaay ahead of the game. If they do bad........I've got some fun times coming at the drag strip.

I've ridden 2 sets of these tires. Here's some pics of my 2nd set which needs replaced. They are a good value for the money hands down.
I've noticed sometimes they get a little squirly but so does any tire in the wrong conditions. Overall though it's a good street tire.
