Question Quick Electrical Question

I am installing an alarm system on my 2001 929rr , in the instructions it has a section about doing the wiring one way of the cycle disables the engine by grounding, and another way if it does it by floating. After looking at the electrical diagrams in the shop manual I believe that the grouding method looks correct, but thought I would ask before possibly doing it wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Kevin. I have no idea. I know this does not help, but I wanted you to know that "we"(the fellers on the forum) didn't just blow you off.

I would try using the search section at the top and search the forum that way. I can't recall anyone recently with a 929 that has done anything with alarms. Hopes this helps and maybe someone will chime in... like 74demon or one of the smarter members.

I was hoping (but not expecting) that someone might know. I went ahead and assumed the "Ground" type and that worked as it should. So if someone else happens to need to know - now we know for sure. The alarm had really crappy documentation and the company that made it has been out of business for a few years so finding about anything on it was futile (and I really looked hard using Google).

It was a "Guardian 911-100P" alarm system, that has starter disable, siren, motion sensing, and a pager that alerts you if it goes off. It seemed to also be called a few other names but the "911-100P' was always in the description.

Thanks for the chime in, i had seen that 60+ people had looked at the question, just figured noone knew so far.
