progress on my deployment bike
well as some of you know ive been in iraq for the past year, i just got home 2 weeks ago and have been workin round the clock on the used 929 i bought while i was away. first the dude i got the bike from was a total doucher and the bike was in bad shape. he had nitrous on the bike, but i decided i didnt need that so i undertook the task of removing it. well, as we all know one small task goes from just that to an epic fix-all. the nitrous was hardwired into the main wiring harness and it took 2 days to figure out how to get it out and put the harness and bike back together...

i re up-holstered the seats, changed out the grips, bar ends, and chopped the levers and gave them a coat of plasti-dip...

i know it has mis-matched rearsets, vortex on one side and one from an 03 cbr 600 on the other side...

but its a work in progress and i still have a long way to go...

Thanks, I like the 954 front end, the wires were a mess up front also, so I had to take the front fairings off and clean that up as well, it was so messy it was impairing the steering of the bike
Nice bobber. Looks like you got some work in that Ram, roll pan and a 3/5 drop??
What did those mirrors come off of? they look good.
