Default problems sith starting

Whats up fellas my brother owns a 929 withhigh milage ,the bike runs great but recently upon start ups sometimes the solenoid kicks in (that whizzing noise before you hit the start button)and sometimes it dont ,he has to keep turning on and off the kill switch untill he hears that whizzing noise ,and even after that it will crank but will not start like its not getting any fuel. Eventually it will start after turning up the idleand a few trys.Rule out bad gas weve rode a few hundred miles and been thru a few tanks in a day anyone had the same prob.

sounds like it mightbea fuel pump problem, the whizzing you hear is the fuel pump priming up. i would check the fuses and all the wiring connections for the pump, if all thats good then mabey need a new fuel pump

929 RR cbr is right on. Most electrical items work or don't. Im thinking a bad connection and thats cheaper to fix also

I would start with the battery connections first and then chase down the fuel pump and fuses.
