Default Possible New 929 Rider

Although I love my '98 f3 to death, I'm thinking of an upgrade and I think the 929 is the way to go. Right now I'm looking at an '01 with 10k miles on it on ebay. Problem is that I'm not exactly sure how much Its worth. If anyone wants to take a look and give me there two cents on what would be a reasonably amount would be I would appreciate it. The links below.

Especially near Chicago in the winter he can't really ask a premium for it. I'll 2nd the $3500, it would be more near $4k in the spring. Looks to be in good shape, I have the same carbon D&D, it's almost too loud, almost

Kelly blue book says $4100 in perfect condition not considering mileage and I usually use kbb as how much I shouldn't pay lol. So yeah $3500 sounds like a decent price. Appreciate the help, I'll Let you guys know what happens.

I would test ride it to see if you want to buy it. Ebay has great bikes for sale but I would buy unless I test road it first.

werd, Trust me I do not hand over a single dollar until I have checked everything out and test drove. Road test may be kinda hard right now due to the weather but I'm not going to do a circle in his drive way and call it good lol.

Anywho's I won the auction but didn't go past the reserve (got up to a whopping $3100) but I am in the middle of working out a deal over the phone with the guy. Ended up talking to him for over half an hour last night. From the sounds of it the bike has been well taken care of. He wants $3800 but is willing to negotiate so we'll see what I can make happen.

Picked her up sunday! Beautiful bike, got to test ride her and everything checked out. Talked him down to 3600 (I know I know but Its hard to haggle much while your shivering from the test run and the bike is just staring at you saying buy me lol) put her in the truck and away I went.......... Now the bad news.... As I was pulling into a gas station right after going through chicago traffic to check the tie downs again I ran over one of those raised manhole covers where they fill the gas tanks at and that little bump was just enough to tip the bike over. Busted the engine stop switch, destroyed the brake line/brake reservoir, and left a three inch long crack in the front fairing. I quickly cleaned up all the brake fluid and so far I can't find any place where its eating plastic. Needless to say I was pretty pissed off the rest of ride home. Pictures to come soon.
