Oxygen sensor on 929rr 01 model
 
Is there an oxy. sensor on all 929's or just a few? Mine i just bought has one with a different heel guard than my buddies. His doesnt have one. Was it just no a select few or what?

Mostly California bikes have them.part of the emmisions BS that we have to deal with.Dynojet does sell a plug to eliminate it if you want but not necesary unless you add a power commander and a map.

Does it effect performance any? I live in wv, and well it was a cali bike.

well, it's better for the environment. you won't really feel the difference in performance too much.

A few horsepower less. but I doubt your really missing it that much. if you plug the sensor I would get it mapped or PC. My bike is just fine with the sensor.
