operating temperature

Default operating temperature

ok im not used to the digital thermostat so what is the normal running temperature in moderate weather like 80degrees and also what temperature does the cooling fan come on just trying to get it all down a lot different that the 95cbrf3

At cruising speed mine runs at 180 regardless of the outside air temp. At slower speeds or idling in traffic the fan kicks on at around 220 or so.

yup thats pretty much the same here havent hit 220 yet because its still kinda cool here in cincinnati and i havent been able to ride much thanks for the info

mine usually sits around 185 while cruising and 220 or so when stopped

I have water wetter in my 954 and I run180 +/- 5depending on ambient temperature @ 40+ mph. Fan starts at 213 and temp has not been over 216 duringslowtraffic on 85 deg day.

my 00 929 usually 76 on freeways, 85 if im cruising in the city, slow traffics 106, fan kicks in at 105. the highest i saw was 108. is that moral? you guys bikes are 180-210. mine is so low.

im gona go out on a limb here and say your looking at the celcius temps.. could be wrong tho. maybe your bike is just amazing

yes ummm you are probably on celcius but sounds like you might be on taht side of the pund where they use celcius anyways. but if you switch it over to Ferenheit you will probably see the same #'s as the rest of us

hmm could be celcius, but im in california, and im pretty sure that the bike is a california model. or the previous owner switched the gauges, speedometer.

you can press the buttons and make them go between C and F also that how you adjust your trip meter.
