new 929
Hey guys I'm new at this an i just got.my first bike It's a 2000 929 an i was wondering what's so good performance mods to do. It already has a 954 swing ARM a power commander a 45 tooth rear sprocket an smog block of plates . What's some other things I can do

K & N air filter

set up the front forks. replace the springs to fit your weight and riding style. other than that, i'd leave it as it is and learn to ride it. spend your money on maintenance... tires, tune, oils, chain, and keep it clean. 929s are great bikes. one of my favorites, not many bikes have trunks like that these days. put up some pics of it when you can.

You can get a BMC Race air filter for $28 plus shipping from Yoshimura R&D. Just look under their clearance products.

A pipercross foam filter will make your intake sound meaner / louder, expensive though. I usually always go with foam if I find one made for whatever bike I have. A foam UNI filter did wonders for a CBR600F3 with RAM air that I had, but UNI doesn't make a 929RR filter.
