So everyone think thats a good deal ^?

And whats so special about the erion over the regular 929?
nothing is more special about it really just that everyone thinks its better to buy that one then it is to buy 2 pos bikes and try and make 1 nice bike

I would have to say to go with the erion just because it is somewhat rare and already together and running...

And just so you know the 954 motor will not go in the 929 that easy, takes some modifacation.. Do a search on here im sure theres a few topics on it

I searched on the swap.
To put the 954 in the 929 i gotta swap the wiring harness/cdi etc....
Thats no biggie because all the parts to do the swap is included.

once im done i would have 1 complete bike, and 1 bike with no engine or title. The one with no engine/title I could get $500-1000 out of and that would bring my investment down to $2500 ATLEAST................I got 3 months to do the swap before spring, It wont take that long, except I want to powdercoat everything since I got a PC setup.

Or buy a erion.......I told him I would come and pick it up for $3500 already.

Ive ripped down and assembled 2 954's so i know the work isnt too hard...
i would still have to go with the complete bike and spend your 3 months taking care of basic maint. and be perfect foe the summer months
hassle free and ready to ride

but its your choice

has the wheels been painted or did some of the erions come in black?

http://images.craigslist.org/0101020...b789001432.jpg

I dont care for the windscreen but thats fixable...........

But really im looking for any good deal, if i come across a f4i or rr 600 id buy that too. I know 929 is a hella big bike but really I dont care what i get aslong as its a deal. I have rode tons dirtbikes/atvs, and have a z28 and a z400 and a snowmobile. TOO MANY TOYS/MONEY PITS!! know the feeling?

They came with black wheels. The Erion is just a limited (how limited? every man and his dog seems to have one!) A number of us have recolored them to white 'cause they look pretty. Buddy has also de-stickered the tail unit, non standard front indicators, can't see much else. Having the Power Commandr is good, so long as it is mapped correctly.

These bikes are reliable, fast and easy to ride. A great choice, though, if you have never riden a liter bike, you are in for quite a different experience my friend. Go easy on right hand to get used to it.
